Joyce Sullivan

A transplanted American, Harlequin Intrigue author, Joyce Sullivan, immigrated to Canada for the love of a tall, dark and handsome French Canadian. Her fascination with mysteries and sleuths began at an early age with the Bobbsey Twins, Nancy Drew and the Three Investigators series—and eventually led her to earn a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Long Beach. She worked several years as a private investigator in British Columbia before trying her hand at freelance journalism and writing romance.

She loves the tight pacing and emotional roller coaster of passion and danger that embody Intrigues. Her favorite past-time is eavesdropping on conversations and observing personality traits and often overlooked details about everyday life to create unique characters and clues for her stories.

She currently lives in Western Quebec with her husband and two teenagers. For more information about Joyce, visit her website.
