Wendy Roberts
Wendy Roberts began her writing career in grade
three when she wrote the poignant tale of a cup
of flour's journey to become a birthday cake.
Her writing stalled for twenty-five years until,
with a house full of babies, she attempted to
regain self and sanity. Years of painfully bad
writing gave way to improved skills that led to
finding her niche in the comedic styles of the
chick-lit mystery. Wendy resides in Surrey, British
Columbia with her husband and four children. Wendy's
first novel, Dating Can Be Deadly, was
released by Red Dress Ink in February 2005. For

Some gifts are easy to return, like the parrot
earrings from Aunt Ruth, but when your gift is
clairvoyance Tabitha Emery finds there is a no
refund policy. She didn't ask for her talent and
certainly doesn't want it but it clings to her
like a thong and is just as uncomfortable.
Tabitha's hopes to snag the heart and body of
Clay Sanderson (Greek God type lawyer) are compromised
by A) her premonitions of a woman's grisly murder
and B) Lucien Roskell, the sexy, albeit weird,
proprietor of a metaphysical store who encourages
Tabitha to use her gift of second sight (and possibly
uncover her latent beneath-the-sheets talents
as well).
Tabitha fumbles along managing to lead the police
to a murderer and catches the eye of her sexy
man as well.
