Top 10 Reasons Romance Novels Are So Addictive
by Sheri Radford

(Warning: If you're easily offended by cheeky double entendres, you might want to skip to another article.)

10.  With romance novels, you can enjoy a different hero every night of the week (and no one raises an eyebrow).

9. A good man is hard to find, but good romance novels are everywhere.

8. A romance novel has never, ever left dirty socks on the floor, eaten biscuits in bed, or asked if you've gained a few pounds.

7. A romance novel can satisfy you every time (and if it doesn't, just grab another one off the shelf).

6. Your friends and family don't hassle you if they don't like your current romance novel. They don't pressure you to find the "right" one before it's too late.

5. You don't get jealous if you see your best friend enjoying your favourite romance novel (in fact, you're probably the one who lent it to her).

4. If you don't like your current romance novel, you can just toss it out, without any fuss, guilt, or drunken 2:00 a.m. phone calls to worry about.

3. A romance novel can keep going all night long.

2. A romance novel never falls asleep before the climax...

1. ...and isn't insulted if you fall asleep.
