Showcase 2006: The Writer's Magical Arts:
Keys To Writing Success
Our spring showcase event, held on March 25,
2006, featured New York Times bestselling
author Sherrilyn Kenyon (Kinley MacGregor)
as the main speaker, as well as individual
appointments with Harlequin executive editor Birgit
Davis-Todd and St. Martin’s senior editor
Monique Patterson. Sherrilyn presented two great
workshops: (1) Heroes Who Sizzle and Heroines
Who Do More Than Shiver, and (2) How to Keep Going
With When the Going Gets Tough and the Tough Wanna
Head for Haagen-Dazs. Sherrilyn and the editors
took part in a spirited panel discussion. The
day ended with a talk and book signing with GVC's
published members.
