Welcome to the Greater Vancouver Chapter (GVC)
of Romance
Writers of America®. We are a network
of romance writers who strive to support and encourage
each other through all stages of our writing careers.
Our members range from beginners working on their
first manuscript to published authors working
on their 30th book. We publish a monthly newsletter,
sponsor writing contests, arrange regular Writing
Week Challenges, and hold workshops and seminars
to promote the craft of writing. We also meet
once a month to exchange news and hear guest speakers.

WRITE ON, VANCOUVER
Every year we hold a writing conference. The
date for next year will be May 2, 2009. More
information will be posted here as it becomes
available. In the meantime, you can read
about and view photos of our most recent conference, which was
a huge success.
UPCOMING MEETING
Our next meeting is scheduled for January 17,
2009, with speaker Jo Beverley talking about writing
romance novels, then and now. It takes place in
our regular meeting space: Ebenezer Baptist Church
at 53rd and Fraser in Vancouver. More

Most years we organize and host a showcase event
with a big-name speaker and appointments with
editors. Check out the photos
